Maggie Q will face a night hag in her Slumber

Last Updated on July 22, 2021

The fighting skills actress Maggie Q has displayed in such projects as MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE III, LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD, and the television series Nikita may not be so effective against the opponent she'll be facing in the supernatural thriller SLUMBER, which will mark the feature directorial debut of commercials director Jonathan Hopkins.

Q is replacing the previously announced Kristen Connolly in the role of

Alice, a rationally minded sleep doctor, who is forced to abandon scientific reason when she meets a family being terrorised by a parasitic demon known as the ‘Night hag’ which paralyses victims as they sleep.

Hopkins co-wrote the screenplay with Richard Hobley. Q's co-stars in the film include Will Kemp, Sylvester McCoy, and William Hope.

Q's other credits include the DIVERGENT movies, PRIEST, and the short-lived Kevin Williamson TV show Stalker. She certainly stays busy.

SLUMBER is filming in the UK right now.
