Rob Zombie keeps on bringing out names from the past for his new horror effort THE LORDS OF SALEM, and today brings us a welcome one: Maria Conchita Alonso. Ms. Alonso is probably most fondly remembered (by genre slobs like us) for her turns in THE RUNNING MAN and PREDATOR 2. In the latter, she busted Bill Paxton’s balls, quite literally. That makes her a queen in our eyes!

Zombie’s announcement reads in part:
Maria takes on the role of Alice Matthias, wife of Salem author Francis (Bruce Dern) Matthias. Should Francis have listened to his wife and minded his own business? You decide.

Alonso joins Bruce Dern, Meg Foster, Ernest Thomas, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Torsten Voges, Billy Drago, Richard Lynch and Lisa Marie in LORDS OF SALEM, which is about to commence production.
