Mark Neveldine’s The Vatican Tapes hits in February 2015

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

So we finally know when we’re going to see Mark Neveldine’s solo effort THE VATICAN TAPES – all thanks to Neveldine himself! The director – who along with Brian Taylor brought us the CRANK films and GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE – revealed on his Twitter page that the horror flick will be hitting on February 27, 2015.

Michael Peña, Djimon Hounsou, Dougray Scott, Peter Andersson and Kathleen Robertson star in the film, which was filmed last summer. Here’s the plot breakdown:

The Vatican Tapes follows the haunting tale of 27-year-old Angela Holmes, played by Dudley, an ordinary girl who begins to have a devastating effect on anyone close to her, causing serious injury and death. The local priest, Father Lozano (Peña), examines Holmes and believes she is possessed, but when Vicar Imani (Hounsou) and Cardinal Bruun (Andersson) are called from the Vatican to exorcise the demon, it proves to be an ancient satanic force more powerful than they imagined.

Keep your eyes peeled for more VATICAN TAPES news in the near future.
