The Bloody-Disgusting boys posted an interview with indie horror director Mike Mendez on the eve of his current flick, THE GRAVEDANCERS, premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. Reports are that the crowd loved the flick, and certainly everything we’ve seen so far at the Official Site indicates that they should. It looks like an intense ride.
As to what he has coming up next, here’s a taste of what he dropped:
I got a couple of irons in the fire, we’ll see what comes to fruition first. I’m working with a writer, Evan Katz on a really cool film called 100 DEMONS, which is an action horror film. And there is also a project that has not been announced yet, that I will be working with a “Master” of Horror, in my book, THE “Master” of Horror. But hopefully that will get announced at Cannes. It’s insanely cool.
Nothing but good news in that, but it doesn’t end there. Read the whole interview for more delicious glimpses of what Mendez has in store for us all.
