When you think about Christmas the first thing that comes to mind is little old ladies who turn all demonlike, bite a chunk of your neck off then start racing around on the ceiling only to get blown away by Dennis Quaid… right?
Well that’ll be the first thing you think of after checking out the latest clip from LEGION! Actually the clip isn’t really that new, seeing how we’ve seen most of this footage in the trailers. I don’t know about the rest of you but just the fact that Dennis Quaid blows an old lady away with a shotgun has me completely sold on LEGION. Nevermind the fact that the trailer is loaded with action and has us believing this movie is going to rock. Then again we’ve been fooled by trailers in the past… so let’s keep our guards up here. Here’s the synopsis for LEGION:
After a terrifying biblical apocalypse descends upon the world, a group of strangers stranded in a remote truck stop diner in the Southwest unwittingly become humanity’s last line of defense when they discover the diner’s young waitress is pregnant with the messiah.
Scott Stewart not only directed LEGION but also penned the script with Peter Schink. It stars Dennis Quaid, Paul Bettany, Kate Walsh, Lucas Black, Tyrese Gibson, Adrianne Palicki (below), Kevin Durand, Doug Jones, Charles S. Dutton, Willa Holland, Josh Stamberg, Yancey Arias, Jeanette Miller and Luce Rains. It hits theaters everywhere on January 22nd!
