It’s been a while since I’ve given you all an update on some horror collectibles so considering tonight has been an extremely slow news night I figured what the hell!
First up the guys over at Dread Central point out that Mezco are bringing us two new additions to it’s Mez-Itz line. If you look above and below you’ll see that those additions are ‘The Wolf Man and Zombie!’ Coming in January 2010 is The Wolf Man! Obviously depicting the classic horror icon this figure is based on Joe Johnston’s THE WOLFMAN, starring Benicio del Toro as ‘The Wolf Man’ and hitting theaters everywhere February 10, 2010. It stands 6 inches tall and has 6 points of articulation.
Next up, shipping next month, is the Mez-Itz Zombie! This little guy pays homage to the zombies of the black and white days that we fell in love with. He’s an Ultra Limited Edition of only 108 pieces worldwide and stands 6 inches tall with 5 points of articulation, with a ball-jointed neck and individually rooted “hairs”. So there you go. Two more horror figures your Mez-Itz collection cannot do without!
Next up we’ve got the latest series of NECA’s Cult Classics! It seems this line has taken over where McFarlane’s Movie Maniacs left off. This Cult Classics series is a bit different though… Instead of being just another line of figures this one is the first of NECA’s Cult Classics: Icons!
Found in this new line of figures will be: Beetlejuice, GREMLINS’ Brain, HALLOWEEN’s Michael Myers, HELLRAISER’s Pinhead and THE CROW’s Eric Draven! Now most of these figures have been released before in one way or another… but these come as Icons! NECA’s Cult Classics: Icons line will be available by the end of September, just in time for Halloween!
