I guess Michael Bay does feel the vibration.
After dancing around the Mark Wahlberg rumor for TRANSFORMERS 4, it looks like he’s decided to listen to the internet. Bay posted the news on his site with this comment:
“Mark is awesome. We had a blast working on “Pain and Gain” and I’m so fired up to be back working with him. An actor of his caliber is the perfect guy to re-invigorate the franchise and carry on the Transformers’ legacy.”
I really like Wahlberg, so I can’t say that this news has turned me off. It might sound a little sexist toward my own gender, but I’m glad that they aren’t doing the female lead for the series. I’m sure whoever he chose would be a model who could wear a thong accurately and pout her lips on cue.
There were no other details from Bay. He did include a new logo for the fans to enjoy/hate. The film will begin shooting next Spring. Also, I had to add Paul’s fan created TF4 poster for celebratory purposes.
