Mike Flanagan says “no plans” for new chapter of Netflix Haunting series

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Last week on Twitter, Mike Flanagan – creator of Netflix's successful horror series Haunting of Hill House and Haunting of Bly Manor – stated on Twitter that Netflix has no plans to move forward with a new chapter in the "Haunting" universe.

Here's what Flanagan had to say on his official Twitter account:

Of course, he also said "never say never, of course", meaning that he could potentially return to make a new Haunting series sometime in the future, but that there are currently no plans at the moment.

Meanwhile, you can stream both Haunting of Hill House and Haunting of Bly Manor on Netflix right now, while Flanagan's next horror project – Midnight Mass – is expected to premiere on Netflix sometime next year (though no official release date has been announced).

So what do you guys think? Enjoy the first two Haunting series? If so, would you like to have a third one? Either way, sound off below!
