Similar to what they did last year with WHITE HOUSE DOWN on the Fourth of July, Sony has announced U.S. and Canadian veterans and military personnel with proper identification can go see David Ayer's WWII tank movie FURY today for free in honor of Veterans Day (United States) and Remembrance Day (Canada). To find a free screening you'll have to check local listings for participating theaters, but AMC, Regal and Cinemark are all offering free FURY tickets on a nation level, and in Los Angeles, Pacific and Arclight are also giving free admission to the movie to military members.

“We think this is a great way to honor the members of our armed forces and veterans,” said Rory Bruer, president of Sony's worldwide distribution. “We've heard from so many veterans that they feel that ‘Fury’ truly speaks to their experience in wartime, so, on a day when we all want to find ways to give back to the men and women who serve, we're thrilled to be giving free admission to the film to veterans and active personnel tomorrow.”

Pretty cool and classy of Sony to offer free tickets to their film to veterans, and I'm sure most are interested in checking out FURY. While it's something small, it is still a very nice way of saying thank you to the men and women who have served, and are serving in the armed forces.
