Monster Hunter makes $8 million dollars overseas

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

According to Deadline, Monster Hunter has currently made about $8 million at the global box-office, after its initial release overseas last weekend. This is after the film was pulled from China Friday, once a joke in the film was deemed too offensive (though the studio has since removed said joke, it's still unlear if that'll be enough to get China to put it back into theaters).

Anyway, here's the official synopsis:

A portal transports Lt. Artemis and an elite unit of soldiers to a strange world where powerful monsters rule with deadly ferocity. Faced with relentless danger, the team encounters a mysterious hunter who may be their only hope to find a way home.

Meanwhile, while Monster Hunter – directed by Paul W.S. Anderson (Mortal Kombat) and starring Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil) – has been released overseas, it will be coming out in North America December 25h!

So what do you guys think? Still looking forward to seeing it? Either way, sound off below!
