Hot off the gallery of new images we showed you YESTERDAY, today the new poster for MOON is on the effin’ internet, and if you thought the film looked and sounded like 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY, then you’d be right!
While it doesn’t directly mirror 2001, it sure as shit resembles it in look and style… not that there’s anything wrong with that… The new poster, which you can catch in a larger format by clicking HERE, features star Sam Rockwell in his space station, standing there in his space suit, surrounded by what appears to be a computer motherboard.
As a recap, MOON goes like this: After spending three years on the moon as a solitary miner, Sam Bell (Rockwell) is almost ready to return home to his wife and daughter. But as his homecoming approaches, he begins to experience strange things that can’t be explained and his employer may have a sinister plan in mind for him.
It’s like those f*cks from ALIENS all over again (yeah Paul Reiser , I’m talkin’ to you!), which means who know what they’re up to. Aliens? Killer robots? Cloning? I guess we’ll just have to wait until May 25th, 2009, to find out.
