Recently we got a really good look at some ALICE IN WONDERLAND character posters and today we’ve got even more pics!
The guys over at GetTheBigPicture.net were kind enough to scan the upcoming Vanity Fair because it had three, count em three new shots from Tim Burton’s ALICE IN WONDERLAND! Mind you these aren’t particularly exciting shots… actually they’re not even much different than what we’ve seen already… but they’re new and they’re still worth checking out!
Below you’ll find full body shots of Mia Wasikowska as Alice, Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter and Helena Bonham Carter as The Red Queen. Just scope them over then click through for much larger shots. I’m wondering what’s the deal with the animals? And why is Carter holding a pig? Intriguing none-the-less. Here’s the premise for Burton’s take on the classic tale courtesy of screenwriter Linda Woolverton: Alice, 17, attends a party at a Victorian estate only to find she is about to be proposed to in front of hundreds of snooty society types. Off she runs, following a white rabbit into a hole and ending up in Wonderland, a place she visited 10 years before yet doesn’t remember. 10 years before? That just got my interest very peaked!
Along with Wasikowska, Depp, and Carter the 3-D/CGI/live action adventure also stars Michael Sheen, Anne Hathaway, Alan Rickman, Stephen Fry, Crispin Glover, Christopher Lee and Matt Lucas and is set for release March 5th, 2010.
