More Damon/Greengrass

Are Paul Greengrass and Matt Damon becoming the new Scorsese/DiCaprio (themselves the new Scorsese/DeNiro)?

After teaming for two adventures of amnesiac superspy Jason Bourne, the actor and director are reuniting for another project, adapting the non-fiction book IMPERIAL LIFE IN THE EMERALD CITY for Universal. Reporter Rajiv Chandrasekaran chronicles the days in postwar Baghdad and the “Green Zone”, detailing cultural cockups (pork for Muslims!) and other administrative errors, from the generally incompetent to the disastrous.

Damon will reportedly play a “composite character” who experiences the chaos in Iraq. Aside from the impending OCEAN’S 13, he’s also planning to reunite with DEPARTED co-star Mark Wahlberg for Darren Aronofsky’s THE FIGHTER.
