Is Will Arnett the only one who wants to talk about TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES? The actor shared a little about his experience on the film back in July, and his latest comments on the upcoming movie come from a recent interview with Digital Spy. Arnett starts by talking about how he missed seeing most of the animated series while growing up, but says his sons are big fans.

"It's funny, it's one of those things… it fell between the cracks for me, a little bit, because I was just a little old. But I have a much younger brother and he was a fan, so I was kind of exposed to it when I was a teenager. I knew who they all were and what happened was, almost simultaneous to me being in discussions to become part of the picture, my own sons became massive, like seemingly overnight, massive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans. It was so strange."

Arnett also said once he watched the show he saw there was a good story to tell, and decided to become part of the project.

"I started meeting with these guys and then… I actually watched the cartoon, the animated show on Nickelodeon with my sons, and I was like, 'This is a great story and there's something here', and so I got involved. Of course, Michael Bay's producing and it just seemed like such a great thing to be a part of, and so I signed on very excited, and I had a fantastic experience."

Will Arnett also teased a big fight scene involving Shredder and the Foot Clan while talking to Digital Spy, and says Turtles kind of took over his life while working on the film.

We went to New York, we were shooting that, and what was great was, I'd be there shooting all day, shooting a huge fight scene for like a week where we're fighting Shredder and the Foot Clan. Then I'd come home exhausted and bruised, and the second I walk in the door, my sons say, 'Dad, we're playing Turtles and you're Shredder!' I was inundated with it – just 24 hours a day Turtles!"

I think there's a chance TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES will be a fun experience. Maybe not as dark as the comic or very deep, but it could be quite entertaining, and I think we should give it a shot. A great trailer would certainly help some fans feel better about the film, and hopefully we'll get one in the near future.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES stars William Fichtner, Danny Woodburn, Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, and Alan Ritchson, and will hit theaters on August 8th, 2014.
