We’ve been keeping you updated with FUNNY GAMES for the past several months. More recently we’ve shown you a mess of videos, a new clip, and a new poster that I dig a lot. Actually all the media for FUNNY GAMES has been brilliant.
And they’re not stopping anytime soon. Impawards posted a new poster for the flick. Actually it’s not that new.. it’s just one of the wallpapers from the official site made to look like a poster. It’s legit though, and once again it’s great. You can check that out above.
To go with the ongoing updates, you can head on over to MTV to check out a new teaser trailer, with an introduction from stars Michael Pitt and Brady Corbet. Nothing too new here, but nicely put together and gives a great feel for what I hope the movie is like.
FUNNY GAMES is a remake of the 1997 film of the same title. Both films were written and directed by Michael Haneke. It was shown at Sundance last month and was treated to a mixed reaction. I’m still really stoked for it. It seems like a twisted flick that’s going to poke at your mind, push the barriers of what’s accepted. I’m all for that.
FUNNY GAMES stars Naomi Watts (below), Tim Roth, Michael Pitt, and Brady Corbet. It’s about a couple of crazy dudes who hold a family hostage in their own cabin and force them to complete a series of disturbing games. The flick hits theaters March 14, 2008.
