Overlooked in the announcement for CRANK 2: HIGH VOLTAGE was a whole bunch of official casting news for destructive duo Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor’s sci-fi tech thriller GAME.

The flick stars Gerard Butler as the top gamer in a futuristic society where players control other humans in a massive multiplayer game (hence the title, a-hyuck). Joining the previously reported Kyra Sedgwick and Michael C. Hall (DEXTER) are model-actress Amber Valletta (HITCH, TRANSPORTER 2), John Leguizamo, stunt-chick Zoe Bell (DEATH PROOF), Alison Lohman (MATCHSTICK MEN, BIG FISH), Terry Crews (IDIOCRACY’s President Camacho!), and Logan Lerman and Johnny Whitworth, both just seen in 3:10 TO YUMA.

Writer-director team Neveldine/Taylor will start shooting next week, and roll right from GAME into the bullet-riddled blast of CRANK 2. Their medical thriller PATHOLOGY opens in February.
