I must be chewin’ my Doublemint Gum. Or eating veggies from Chernobyl. Whatever is going on today, it’s weird. This is my second news item that is thematically identical to a story from earlier in the week. Maybe I’ve stumbled into DARK CITY!
Anyway, on Monday you read all about Ian Somerhalder’s new role in THE BREED. Now a fellow cast mate from ABC’s LOST is also jumping into genre waters. Josh Holloway has signed on to the supernatural thriller WHISPER. I haven’t had a chance to catch LOST, but my dog tells me Holloway is the bad boy on the show.
Anyway he’ll play a kidnapper who discovers that there’s something not quite right about the boy he’s taken. Adding screams and hopefully some nudity/skimpy clothes is Sarah Wayne Callies (WB’s TARZAN) as his girlfriend.
Sounds like we could be going down a FIRESTARTER type path, or a reverse THE SIXTH SENSE jaunt. Wanna know more, well stay tuned…same bat time, same bat channel!
