Are you guys following along with Stephen Sommers’ upcoming adaptation of Dean Koontz’s popular novel ODD THOMAS? If you are then you must be aware that it was just yesterday that I brought you word on none other than Tim Robbins potentially joining the flick. Here we are just a day later and we’ve got a bit of a casting shuffle to clue you all in on!
You see according to the fine folks over at Variety it seems Lily Collins is out for the female lead in ODD THOMAS and Addison Timlin is in! Timlin (pictured) will be playing ‘Stormy Llewellyn, the girlfriend of the title character in the supernatural thriller.’ You may recognize Timlin from this past season of Showtime’s “Californication.”
Set in a California desert town, story follows Thomas, a short-order cook with clairvoyant abilities who encounters a mysterious man with a link to dark, threatening forces.
Anton Yelchin has already secured the titular role in ODD THOMAS, which is set to start filming May 2nd in Santa Fe, New Mexico. You can bet we’ll keep our eyes open for more ODD THOMAS news so be sure to check back soon for updates!
