With topping the box office this week and raking in a cool $30 million (compared to the $2 million budget), SAW II has set the stage for another run for Jigsaw and company. Though producers of the sequel have been tip-toeing around the possibility of adding a third finger to the poster, an interesting little site has popped up that may start the rumor mill cranking up again.
A reader named Reznik sent us word that Lions Gate has bought the site www.saw3.com. Granted, the only thing on the page at the moment is a Coming Soon with the Lions Gate logo. Is Jigsaw screwing with us? Will we have more fingers for the MPAA to censor? Who is the father of JoBlo? Stay tuned, since SAW II was approved for production the weekend the original opened, it may happen again.
