When your super-human laboratory experiment throws a tantrum which leaves a colleague grievously injured, what's to be done? That's the question facing the characters in MORGAN, the upcoming feature-film debut of Ridley Scott's son Luke Scott. With shades of ALIEN and EX MACHINA, the sci-fi/thriller has looked quite promising on top of boasting a great cast which includes Kate Mara, Toby Jones, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Paul Giamatti, Brian Cox, Michelle Yeoh and THE WITCH's Anya Taylor-Joy in the titular role. 20th Century Fox has released a new trailer for the flick which charts Morgan's progression from curious child to something a little more dangerous.

An official synopsis for MORGAN:

A corporate troubleshooter (Kate Mara) is sent to a remote, top-secret location, where she is to investigate and evaluate a terrifying accident. She learns the event was triggered by a seemingly innocent “human,” who presents a mystery of both infinite promise and incalculable danger.

MORGAN is due to hit theaters on September 2, 2016.
