Mortal Kombat 11 trailer shows off Terminator vs. RoboCop footage!

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

There are always pop-culture icons that fans seem to want see clash and f*ck each other up, for no other reason than they're superficially similar – whether it's Alien vs. Predator because they're both 80's sci-fi icons, Freddy vs. Jason because they're both 80's horror icons, and Terminator vs. RoboCop because they're both 80's cybernetic icons.

Luckily, MORTAL KOMBAT let's you see those matches come to bloody, gruesome life! For instance, in MORTAL KOMBAT X, the game let you pit the Xenopmorph from ALIEN and the Predator from…well, PREDATOR…against each other, and now you can see Terminator and RoboCop battle bot it out in the upcoming MK 11: AFTERMATH DLC! (Unfortunately, while both Freddy Krueger from NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET and Jason from FRIDAY THE 13TH have each appeared as playable fighters in the MORTAL KOMBAT franchise, they never got to be in the same game – Freddy appearing in MORTAL KOMBAT 9, while Jason in MORTAL KOMBAT X with Alien, Predator, and Leatherface…but it's just not the same).

Anyway, a trailer has just been released showing off the two robotic ruffians beating the crap out of each other, as well as showing all their special moves, counters (RoboCop has one involving ED-209), and Fatalities (which includes RoboCop shooting Terminator in the nuts, which is rad).

Meanwhile, the MORTAL KOMBAT: AFTERMATH DLC – which also includes Friendships, new stages and stage fatalities, as well as two other new characters (Sheeva and Fujin) – will be available on console and PC May 26th.

But what do you guys think? You like what you see so far? And who do you think would win between RoboCop and Terminator? Either way, sound off below!
