Tobe Hooper’s MORTUARY has recently seemed like the bastard child that nobody wants. It sounds like fun times with zombies, and the script by hot genre scribes Jace Anderson and Adam Gierasch certainly should be strong.
So why, oh why have we heard nothing about distribution for this bad boy?

I don’t have an answer for you on that, but I can point you to the Official Site that has new production stills up under the Press section, and also has a Trailer (though it doesn’t appear to be working currently, I’m sure they’ll get it going soon).
