Black Panther, Cap and more are ready for battle in new Infinity War image

AVENGERS: INFNITY WAR arrives next month! We can say that now because the date for the movie has been moved up a whole week to April 27. No doubt we will be seeing an onslaught of new promotional materials coming out in the next few weeks, including a new trailer, main poster(s) and images galore. I sense it’s already beginning, as a brand-new image from the movie has just dropped featuring Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and more!

The new image comes courtesy of Total Film as part of their new issue hitting stands soon. The image shows the heroes, which also includes Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje, getting ready for battle in Wakanda. This is all before Evans gives a rousing speech about how Thanos (Josh Brolin) can never take their freedom.

In the photo, we don’t get a ton of new detail, but we do get a glimpse at Bucky’s new, probably vibranium arm. Meanwhile, Cap is still without a shield, and Widow seems to be rocking some casual clothes instead of her spy suit fitted with shocking gadgets.

This scene likely comes before the epic battle scenes we saw in the first trailer, which sees Thanos’ forces invading Wakanda, for what reason we do not know. The battle itself will probably be one of the movie’s biggest set pieces given how much it’s being marketed. Chances are heroes like Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), and Falcon (Anthony Mackie) are also somewhere in the scene, but apparently missed the photo shoot.
