Fox's GAMBIT, starring Channing Tatum as the titular Cajun mutant, was expected to head into production this past November with Rupert Wyatt behind the camera, but that all changed after the director left the comic book movie. EDGE OF TOMORROW's Doug Liman has been tapped to replace Wyatt, and it's being reported that filming is now scheduled to kick off this March in Louisiana.

You may have noticed that Tatum was sporting a, shall we say, rather interesting haircut at last night's Golden Globes, and some believe his hair-do (which you can check out below) is in preparation for the role. Will you be happy if this is how the actor will look in GAMBIT?

Although GAMBIT doesn't have a new release date yet, it will more than likely be in theaters sometime in 2017.
