Cool Videos: Jean-Claude Van Damme. Splits. Enya. Nuff said.

Who doesn’t love Jean-Claude Van Damme? The guy defined the 1990s action movie for me with everything from UNIVERSAL SOLDIER, HARD TARGET, TIMECOP, and many more. In recent years he has faded from the top of Hollywood despite his great turn as a version of himself in JCVD and a villainous part in THE EXPENDABLES 2 and a voice role in KUNG FU PANDA 2.

While he may not be getting a big studio project any time soon, those of us who grew up watching his movies still have a soft spot for the direct to Redbox actor. The Muscles from Brussels is now 53 years old and this new Volvo ad shows he is still in amazing shape. I mean, Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger are still kicking ass on the big screen but can they do the splits like Van Damme can? I highly doubt it.

This commercial for Volvo’s line of trucks purports to have been shot on a closed landing strip in Spain and doesn’t appear to be using any sort of CGI tricks. If this is the real deal, this is pretty frickin awesome. All hail, Jean-Claude Van Damme!
