The Mandalorian gets a Cowboy Bebop-inspired opening sequence

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

If you're looking for a break from the stresses surrounding the ongoing American presidential election, then this animated mash-up of The Mandalorian and Cowboy Bebop should put a smile on your face, if only for a minute or two. YouTube animator Malec has unleashed a great animated opening for The Mandalorian featuring a jazzy blend of the theme songs for both Cowboy Bebop and The Mandalorian, that includes appearances from animated versions of Mando (Pedro Pascal), Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito), Cara Dunn (Gina Carano), and Kuill (Nick Nolte). Check it out above!

The second season of The Mandalorian launched on the Disney+ streaming service just last week, and it's said that the new season will find "The Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal) and The Child continuing their journey as they face enemies and rally allies, making their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire." The next episode of The Mandalorian will debut this Friday on Disney+, and you can be sure that we'll be watching.

Be sure to check out a review of the second season premiere of The Mandalorian from our own Alex Maidy!
