So this is cool! I remember when I first saw footage of Sinfeld Chronicles – which was created in Media Molecule’s sandbox game creator Dreams, where you played as Jerry Seinfeld's nephew Donathan – as a sort of frightening fever dream which merged the aesthetics and deep cut references of the Seinfeld lore, alongside some truly nightmarish and disturbing visuals and situations. I honestly hadn't really seen anything quite like it.
Well, now, there's a new PS5 remaster from RareBird Games, which you can watch at the top of the article! There have been some changes (Donathan is now Jerry's adopted son instead of nephew), but it's still just as crazy and frightening as ever, and is described by "an action horror comedy parody featuring various gameplay styles inspired by Resident Evil, Silent Hills, and P.T."! Check it out if you haven't yet!
Anyway, the the new version of the game – titled Sinfeld Remastered – will be headed to PC and the PlayStation 5 this October!
