Theaters across the globe are looking to be quite empty in the coming months as studios have been delaying the release of a number of their films thanks to the spread of coronavirus. According to Deadline, Disney has just pulled MULAN, THE NEW MUTANTS, and ANTLERS from their release schedule. The studio is looking at potential dates further down the line in 2020 to reschedule these films.

MULAN was slated to hit theaters on March 27th, followed by THE NEW MUTANTS on April 3rd, and ANTLERS on April 17th. Earlier today, Paramount Pictures pushed back the release of A QUIET PLACE: PART II and THE LOVEBIRDS, while Universal Pictures delayed F9, the ninth film in the FAST & FURIOUS saga, until April 2021. We've also seen the release dates of NO TIME TO DIE and PETER RABBIT 2 delayed as well. As the virus continues to spread, we likely haven't seen the last of these types of delays and outright cancellation of events. Stay safe out there, people.
