First look at Guillermo Del Toro’s standalone game, inSANE

JoBloJoBlo

I was in attendance at the SpikeTV Video Game Awards this weekend, and I can report that the presenter who got the biggest laughs wasn’t a comedian like Dane Cook or Nick Swardson, rather it was Guillermo Del Toro, and his ripping of movies adapted into shitty games, and that his high school nickname used to be “Super Meat Boy.”

But he wasn’t just there to crack jokes, he had a game of his own to debut. Del Toro has long be a proponent of video games, and his new venture is no film adaptation, but rather a standalone title called inSANE. Not many details are known or shown here, but here’s what Del Toro has to say about it:

“With this new series of videogames, I want to take players to a place they have never seen before, where every single action makes them question their own senses of morality and reality.”

Check it out below, and look for an eventual film adaptation a ways off, as the game itself doesn’t even drop until 2013. Oh, and it’s supposed to be part one of a trilogy.
