First trailer for Disney’s video game mash-up movie Wreck-It Ralph with John C. Reilly hits

Yesterday, we brought you some new images from Disney’s WRECK-IT RALPH, the videogame mash-up movie starring John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer, and Jane Lynch and today MSN has debuted the trailer.  The animated film revolves around an arcade game “bad guy” named Wreck-It Ralph who, basically, gets tired of being a bad guy and starts jumping into other games to find a way to be good.

Pop in a few quarters and take a look:

This actually looks like a lot of fun.  I mean, who amongst us isn’t invested in videogames to some degree?  It’s a cool concept and has a lot of potential, especially with so many licensed characters making appearances throughout.  Now if they could just work in some Gears of War chainsaws we’d be all set.  Either way, this one just moved up a few notches on my scoreboard.

And here’s the synopsis:

Wreck-It Ralph (voice of Reilly) longs to be as beloved as his game’s perfect Good Guy, Fix-It Felix (voice of McBrayer). Problem is, nobody loves a Bad Guy. But they do love heroes… so when a modern, first-person shooter game arrives featuring tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Lynch), Ralph sees it as his ticket to heroism and happiness. He sneaks into the game with a simple plan—win a medal—but soon wrecks everything, and accidently unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens every game in the arcade. Ralph’s only hope? Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Silverman), a young troublemaking “glitch” from a candy-coated cart racing game who might just be the one to teach Ralph what it means to be a Good Guy. But will he realize he is good enough to become a hero before it’s “Game Over” for the entire arcade?

WRECK-IT RALPH opens on November 12, 2012.
