Gal Gadot, Kristen Wiig & more sing “Imagine” to help you forget coronavirus

We aren't the only ones self-quarantining amid growing coronavirus concerns. Some of your favorite actors and actresses are also taking heed and staying in and trust me, they're just as bored as the rest of us. Going with the growing trend that "we're all in this together", Gal Gadot led a plethora of stars in a bid to help cheer people up during what can only be described as a truly weird state of affairs.

Gal Gadot posted a video on her Instagram page with a message to her many followers. "Hey guys, day 6 self-quarantine, and I gotta say the past few days got me feeling a bit philosophical. You know this virus has affected the entire world, everyone. Doesn't matter who you are, where you're from, we're all in this together." Inspired by a viral video of an Italian man playing the John Lennon song "Imagine" on a trumpet from his balcony during the country's strict lockdown, Gadot said "there was something so powerful and pure about this video," which led her to begin singing the song's first verse.

Gadot isn't the only one singing a tune in the video. After just a few words, the cuts to Kristen Wiig singing the next part and she is then followed by several stars including Jamie Dornan, Labrinth, James Marsden, Sarah Silverman, Eddie Benjamin, Natalie Portman, Mark Ruffalo, Amy Adams, Maya Rudolph, Kaia Gerber, Zoe Kravitz, Chris O'Dowd, Leslie Odom Jr., Sia, Jimmy Fallon, Pedro Pascal, Will Ferrel, Annie Mumolo, Cara Delevingne, Ashley Benson, Norah Jones & original live-action Wonder Woman herself, Lynda Carter.

Gal Gadot's film WONDER WOMAN 1984 is kind of unintentionally the focus of a bit of attention because as its June 5 release date looms, film hasn't announced delaying its release amid the coronavirus pandemic. Several high-profile films have vacated their release dates with many of them leaving the release schedule indefinitely with no new dates announced as of yet. Warner Bros. may be trying to wait it out a bit with WONDER WOMAN 1984 but with all the movie theater's shutting their doors indefinitely, it looks almost certain that the highly-anticipated sequel will have to find a new release date as well.

Many people will find the video cheesy and may even feel like they can't understand what the world is going through because they're celebrities but everyone is also looking for a little positivity right now and I salute them for at least trying to spread some good cheer. I rather watch this than be flooded with constant news about the virus from media outlets that make it a point to sensationalize the event.

How are YOU cheering yourself up during this time? What are YOU watching to pass the time?
