Into the Woods poster showcases Meryl Streep and a wall of text

It's been a few months since the first trailer for the fairy tale musical INTO THE WOODS hit the net, and now a new poster is here to remind you that this flick is being released this Christmas. There's been some controversial talk on what's been removed or toned down for the cinematic version, but I think they're attempting to make you forget all of that with the amount of words on this poster.

Check it out:

There is more text to that poster than there is poster. I can't imagine anyone wanting to hang that on their wall, but I'm sure most people have made up their mind about whether or not they're going to see this Gothic fantasy and I doubt a poster will sway them either way. I'm rather looking forward to this flick, as there is one hell of a cast in place and everything I've heard from Steven Sondheim has been music to my ears. You're welcome.

INTO THE WOODS, starring Johnny Depp, Anna Kendrick, Emily Blunt, Chris Pine, and Meryl Streep, will be released on December 25, 2014.
