Jack Black has launched a new YouTube channel called Jablinski Games

YouTube is about to get a taste of the D, and by that I mean that Jack Black, one half of the comedic rock band Tenacious D, has announced Jablinksi Games, a new YouTube channel set to focus on a variety of Black's interests related to “games, food, and life.”

As a way of hyping up his new channel, Black proclaimed that Jablinksi Games will “be bigger than Ninja. It’s gonna be bigger than PewDiePie,” two of gaming's most prominent influencers. Now, I know what you're thinking, "Steve, Ninja and PewDiePie (for better or worse) are huge. There's no way that Black can pull the numbers they do." Ah, but then I would politely remind you that numbers do not lie, and that as of this moment, Black's first video has already garnered a total of 1,311,194 views since its December 21st launch – giving Jablinksi Games a firm grip on the No. 10 slot on YouTube’s trending list.

According to Black, Jablinski Games is a passion project shared between him and his son. “I just want to clarify that there is no production behind this,” Black stated in the comments. “This is all my son. He’s holding me hostage and I can’t be Tracer. Help…”

In my opinion, Jablinski Games has the potential to go to some pretty interesting places, given Black's laundry list of celebrity friends, who could easily stop by the "studio" for a chance to play Overwatch, Fortnite, or World of Warcraft with the JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE actor. Plus, when you add Black's signature brand of comedy to the mix, we could be in for one of the most hilarious and hard rockin' YouTube gaming channels yet. I suppose it all depends on how much time and effort Black lends to the project, which is expected to post new videos every Friday.

I don't know about you, but I'll certainly be tuning in to the first few video from Jablinksi Games, if only to see what it's really all about. Let us know what you think of Jack Black's latest project in the comments section below. Oh, and while you're at it, tell us who your favorite online streamers are as well.
