Thanks to COVID-19, we've still got more than two years to go before the release of the first of four AVATAR sequels, but production on those sequels are now back underway following a months-long shutdown. The official AVATAR Twitter have released a pair of photos of the High Camp Bio Lab set from the set of the AVATAR sequels. The first photo finds director James Cameron inspecting the set while the second shows a wide shot of the laboratory set from above. If you zoom in on that second photo, you can also catch a glimpse of a second set in the background. Check 'em out!

It's been over a decade since AVATAR hit theaters, and the sequels have experienced their share of delays, the latest coming last month when Disney pushed back all of the upcoming AVATAR films (as well as the new STAR WARS trilogy) by a full year. This will find AVATAR 2 moving from December 17, 2021 to December 16, 2022; AVATAR 3 moving from December 22, 2023 to December 20, 2024; AVATAR 4 moving from December 19, 2025 to December 18, 2026; and AVATAR 5 moving from December 27, 2027 to December 22, 2028. Will any of us even be alive by then? Although this is far from the first delay that James Cameron has experienced in regards to the AVATAR films, he penned a letter to give his thoughts on the matter. "There is no one more disappointed about this delay than me," Cameron wrote. "But I am buoyed by the incredible performances of our cast and the extraordinary work that Weta Digital is doing bringing the world of Pandora and the characters of the film to life."
