Kristen Wiig and Jon Hamm have Friends With Kids on this poster

Jon Hamm might have been one of the best parts of BRIDESMAIDS, and he and Kristen Wiig are back in another relationship in FRIENDS WITH KIDS. This time they’re playing an actual couple, though.

The film’s real stars are Adam Scott (“Parks and Recreation”, “Party Down”) and Jennifer Westfeldt (KISSING JESSICA STEIN), who see all their other friends having babies and decide to have one themselves, platonically. 

Friends With Kids is a daring and poignant ensemble comedy about a close-knit circle of friends at that moment in life when children arrive and everything changes. The last two singles in the group observe the effect that kids have had on their friends’ relationships and wonder if there’s a better way. They decide to have a kid together – and date other people.

I’m going to take a wild guess and assume they end up in love by the end, perhaps learning an important lesson about love and family?

The film also stars Maya Rudolph, Chris O’Dowd, Megan Fox and Edward Burns, and it was written and directed by Hamm’s real-life wife Westfeldt.
