UPDATED: More pics from The Avengers, and talk of possible future Marvel projects

UPDATED with a few new pics, including a look at Cobie Smulders as S.H.I.E.L.D. second-in-command Maria Hill. (via ONTD)

Behind last week's amateurishly assembled Entertainment Weekly cover were some new snaps from Marvel's superhero extravaganza THE AVENGERS, and we're getting some cleaner versions now online.

And while writer-director Joss Whedon wrestles through post-production on next summer's biggest collection of comic characters, Marvel movie honcho Kevin Feige is looking ahead to what's next (besides the already expected sequels to THOR, IRON MAN and CAPTAIN AMERICA).

But if you were hoping for an update on DOCTOR STRANGE, the Sorcerer Supreme is nowhere in sight.

Instead, Feige confirms that Edgar Wright's ANT-MAN is still in development, and we could also see movies based on GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY (which he calls "an opportunity to do a big space epic, which THOR sort of hints at, in the cosmic side of the Marvel universe") and INHUMANS, which could be an X-MEN style ensemble.

Extra Tidbit: Also not mentioned but still under Marvel's umbrella of movie rights: LUKE CAGE, RUNAWAYS, BLACK PANTHER, SHANG-CHI, POWER PACK, CLOAK & DAGGER, IRON FIST, and the recently reacquired BLADE and THE PUNISHER. Which do you want most?
