New Sin City 2 images featuring Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba and JGL

So far, the only things to be released for SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR has been a couple of images with Josh Brolin and a teaser poster. Yesterday when we learned Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez are already thinking about SIN CITY 3, several of you commented on the lack of promotional material for the upcoming film. Maybe someone heard you, because two new images from the new movie have been released, giving us a first look at Mickey Rourke's Marv, Jessica Alba's Nancy, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt's Johnny.

The new images come courtesy of EW, and Mickey Rourke and Jessica Alba look about the same as they did in the first film. But Joseph Gordon-Levitt is one of the newcomers to the series, and his Johnny is also one of the new characters appearing in the film. Gordon-Levitt looks like he recently had the shit kicked out of him in his picture, and the character has been described as, "a cocky gambler who disguises a darker mission to destroy his most foul enemy at his best game."

I love the first movie, and although it's taken f*cking forever for the sequel, I can't wait to see SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR. Between the cast members returning from the original, some excellent new additions, and two new original stories written by Frank Miller, there are a ton of reasons to be pumped for the upcoming movie. Now let's just hope they don't push back its release date…again.
