Based on the internationally acclaimed sci-fi manga series, as well as the anime that followed, GHOST IN THE SHELL follows Major (Scarlett Johansson), a special ops, one-of-a-kind human cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. The theme from the anime has been reworked by Steve Aoki, and you can listen to a good chunk of it below.

While I'm willing to admit that dubstep is not my bag (baby), I can recognize when it's done well, and when it's the same old stuff. This sounds like nothing new and barely resembles the original music, save for a few samples. Given that the score for the film was written by Clint Mansell, I'm hoping they reserve this track for the end credits.
