Man, what a badass late night surprise! I thought to myself, “Well, another GODZILLA trailer, huh?” But, when I hit play I had no idea what awesomeness awaited. Now, for those that are trying to keep themselves as in the dark as possible, I’d recommend steering clear, although it doesn’t really spoil anything. The trailer shows more of not only GODZILLA, but of his monstrous flying nemesis as well, including a hint at his “origin.” I had a number of “OH yeah!” moments while watching this. Let’s see if you do, too.

This is just another log on the fire of my excitement for this bad boy. I never thought I’d be so excited to see a GODZILLA movie. Okay, that’s a lie, I was actually very excited for Roland Emmerich‘s version, but we all know how that turned out. I feel like the faith of fans will really be rewarded with this one, though.
GODZILLA, directed by Gareth Edwards and starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, Ken Watanabe, David Strathairn, and Juliete Binoche stomps into action on May 16, 2014.
