Thunder God versus emergency room in this new clip from Thor

So far, the clips that Marvel has unveiled for THOR haven’t exactly shown the Thunder God at his Asgardian best. He’s had trouble with a single S.H.I.E.L.D. agent (a large one, granted), and a girl half his size took him down with a Taser.

Now it’s a hospital staff sending him to see the sandman.

Obviously we’re seeing the result of Thor being stripped of his power by angry dad Odin and tossed to the mortal realm as a means of punishment, but still… dunno about you, but I’m more than ready to see him grab Mjolnir and start whomping on an epic scale. Verily.

The movie opens May 6.
