Trying to be Batman can get you arrested

Yes, we’re all very excited about THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. In fact, some people simply can’t wait to see Batman, they want to be him.

It seems that a 31-year-old dude garbed in the costume and cowl of the Dark Knight (that’s the doughy suspect above) was arrested in Petoskey, MI while in the process of fighting crime.

Well, he was actually “hanging from the wall of a downtown business,” but he was definitely armed and ready for any action he might encounter there.

According to the report, the chunky caped crusader was cuffed for trespassing and possession of dangerous weapons when “officers pulled the man back onto the roof and found a baton type striking weapon, a can of chemical irritant spray, and a pair of lead lined gloves.”

It seems that his utility belt did not, however, include a container of anti-perspirant.

The masked man’s secret identity has not been revealed, but he is clearly not, as the saying goes, “the goddamn Batman”.
