We Talk The Layover with Kate Upton & Alexandra Daddario & William H. Macy

In the new comedy THE LAYOVER, two best friends discover the lengths they’ll both go to when a man gets between them. Directed by the incredibly talented William H. Macy, the film stars Alexandra Daddario, Kate Upton and Matt Barr. This sweet, and occasionally crude, comedy is a funny tale, and the film’s stars are very engaging. Let’s be honest, it would be impossible not to be a little taken with both Upton and Daddorio on-screen.

Recently, we spoke to both Daddario and Upton, and needless to say it was a very pleasant experience.  The two opened up about playing best friends, and finding the right chemistry between them. They also discussed working with Macy as a director. Alexandra added to the conversation one of the more specific notes he gave her for a hilarious sex scene.

Afterwards, I sat down with Mr. Macy and Matt Barr. It is beyond impressive to me the many layers of Macy as an actor, and as a filmmaker. With this and RUDDERLESS, he is making some intriguing choices. He opened up about taking on a female driven buddy comedy. And while this is the ladies’ flick, Matt Barr is along for a bit of trouble. The actor talked about playing the man that comes between the girls, and working with with such an impressive talent behind the camera.

If you're looking for something sweet and charmingly crude this summer, check out THE LAYOVER.
