Mulder’s on fire in the full trailer for The X-Files revival

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Our glimpses at the upcoming return of The X-Files are getting lengthier. Not long ago, we were grasping at every second of footage we could get, so yesterday's 45 second promo seemed like a lot. It has since been blown out of the water, though, by the arrival of a full two minute trailer, which can be viewed below.

David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Mitch Pileggi, William B. Davis, Bruce Harwood, Tom Braidwood, Dean Haglund, Robbie Amell, Lauren Ambrose, Joel McHale, Annet Mahendru, Rhys Darby, and Kumail Nanjiani star in the revival of the 1993 – 2002 series, which is set for a six episode run.

The first episode will air on Fox on Sunday, January 24th, giving us a full hour of new X-Files to watch. (Well, around 40 minutes not counting commercials.) The remaining episodes will air over the next five Mondays.

I still need to catch up on The X-Files. I've only seen a couple episodes, and I'm really starting to feel like I'm missing out on a party.
