Yes, I know the third MUMMY movie isn’t actually called THE MUMMY 3, but THE MUMMY: TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR just didn’t fit in the sidebar.

Anyway, the first teaser poster for the flick has appeared, displaying the horror of erosion. The movie again stars Brendan Fraser as the square-jawed hero, but Maria Bello is the proxy hottie for Rachel Weisz and Jet Li replaces Arnold Vosloo as the new villain.

Director Rob Cohen steps behind the camera in place of franchise-launcher Stephen Sommers, practically guaranteeing this one will be louder, faster and more brainless (Cohen’s last three movies, after all, were THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS, xXx and STEALTH).
