After hearing so much about THE MUMMY: TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR via director Rob Cohen’s blog throughout production, I guess I was expecting something a little more than this for a teaser poster.
Not that it’s entirely boring or lame, but let’s face it… it’s boring and lame. I get that they need to let people know that it’s about an ancient tomb in China, but they seem to have forgotten that it’s also a MUMMY movie, which besides THE MUMMY logo, you couldn’t tell by looking here! All I can really think of is MORTAL KOMBAT!!! But maybe that’s just me…
But who am I to judge, right? What say YOU? Think the teaser poster (currently being pimped at this year’s ShoWest exhibition) rocks, or blows? I’m leaning toward the later… THE MUMMY: TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR hits theaters everywhere August 1st.
