With
TERMINATOR SALVATION soon upon us (am
seeing it this coming Wednesday – am so stoked – expect my review to hit the
site later on that day),
it got me thinking of my favorite TERMINATOR movie within the franchise. And
that’s am easy one for me, it would have to be Jimmy Cameron’s 1984 classic
THE TERMINATOR.

Now, I know most people enjoy T2 more than the original but I personally
groove to the bleakness, brutality, grit and film noir/ horror tones of the
first film over the more big blockbuster vibe of T2. Moreover, Arnie as a no
bull, killing machine villain???? Hey, you can’t go wrong with that. He has
no tissue moments with some brat in this one! The man (or should I say cyborg)
WAS death on two legs!
Can’t wait to see the T-800 back in action in T4!
So with that gunned your way, allow me to share with you, my fav scenes from THE TERMINATOR

everything about that sequence blows me the f*ck away: the editing, the camera work, the brilliant
sound design, the 80’s pop ditty, the score and the badass slow motion. That bit INSPIRED me to want to
