Nakata hears Voice

Hideo Nakata is at it again! According to The Hollywood Reporter the RINGU director (right) has just signed on to bring us another supernatural thriller!

This one is called VOICE FROM THE STONE and is actually based on an Italian novel that seems to have reached cult status over in Italy. It’s about a female child psychologist who takes on the case of a young boy who made a promise to his dying mother to remain silent until her spirit returns. Nice.

Zanuck Independent are the ones behind this one with Mark Wheaton penning the script. That’s all we’ve got thus far on VOICE FROM THE STONE but be sure to keep it here for updates as we hear them.
