Naomi Watts joins Mel Gibson & Frank Grillo in Joe Carnahan’s Boss Level

Back in November, we let you guys know that Mel Gibson is set to co-star alongside Frank Grillo as a cop caught in a time-loop of murder and mystery ala HAPPY DEATH DAY and GROUNDHOG DAY in director Joe Carnahan’s BOSS LEVEL.

The film is set to begin filming next year and today we have word via Variety that none other than the positively stunning Naomi Watts may be joining in on the action as well as Will Sasso. BOSS LEVEL synopsis:

Every day, a retired special forces veteran (Grillo) is trapped in a never-ending loop resulting in his death. In order to stop his endless suffering, he must figure out who is responsible and stop them. 

BOSS LEVEL is directed by Joe Carnahan from a script written by the Borey Brothers and will star Frank Grillo, Mel Gibson, Naomi Watts, and Will Sasso. The film is produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian, and Randall Emmett and George Furla.
