If you’re a fan of collectible figures based on genre video games, then you’re in for a treat today! Action-Figure.com got word from the UK Toy Fair that NECA has just scored the licenses of 4 video games for their upcoming Player Select line, based on video game characters. Intriguing!
The licenses NECA scored are for: DEAD SPACE, PROTOTYPE, DEVIL MAY CRY, and DANTE’S INFERNO. Most of you probably know all about DEVIL MAY CRY (below) already, hell there’s already several figures available from the video game franchise. But this is a first for the other three! PROTOTYPE and DANTE’S INFERNO aren’t even released yet, but present some pretty awesome characters that fit perfect for collectible figures.
PROTOTYPE basically follows a shapeshifting badass that can turn into enemies he’s killed, including taking over their memories. DANTE’S INFERNO is based off the novel THE DIVINE COMEDY and involves the nine circles of hell and Dante’s journey. And DEAD SPACE (above) should go without saying… it’s a survival horror video game recently released that has been on nearly everyones Top lists.

We go from some potentially awesome video game figures to even more TWILIGHT figures. Yup, doesn’t seem like this TWILIGHT thing is going away anytime soon. Might as well stop fighting it and just go with the flow, right? … No.
Anyway, Action-Figure.com scored a look at the figures from the BELLA AND EDWARD 2 PACK. Yeah, some pretty exciting news! You can scope out what those figures will look like above, just click through to check out the whole shot over at A-F.
The figures come from NECA and scale at 7”. They’re due to hit shelves the second quarter of 2009. Aside from having as much appeal as Barbie dolls, the figures themselves actually don’t look half bad collectible wise. So if you happen to be a fan of TWILIGHT and are in the collectibles business, you might want to pick this one up.
