This piece of NECA news is right up Arrow’s alley.
The toy gods NECA are at it again. Iron Maiden’s beloved mascot, Eddie, is the latest victim of their masterful scupltors. Based on the cover for The Trooper single from 1983’s Piece Of Mind, Eddie is brought to life in headknocker form. Or bobblehead form, whichever you call it. Sculpted by Michael Sandbothe and painted by Ed Repka, Eddie comes armed with his sword and trusty Union Jack to kick the ass of crappy music. Okay, so British Metal isn’t up everyone’s alley, but anyone out there who has even a vague interest in metal has heard at least one Iron Maiden song. Now where’s my headknocker for Stranger In A Strange Land? Look for Eddie to hit shelves in February 2006.
Here’s the single art, and the headknocker for comparison’s sake.
